S & S Clearing & Grading LLC was founded in 2019 by David and Michael with one straightforward goal: deliver quality site work that customers can count on. Both owners grew up around the construction industry and brought that hands-on background into every decision they made when starting the company. From day one, they chose to stay on the tools themselves rather than manage from a distance.

David has spent more than two decades operating heavy equipment and leading commercial projects across South Carolina. His career built a reputation for reliability, hard work, and seeing every job through from the first cut to final grade. He is a husband and father of three, and that same sense of responsibility he brings to his family shows up on every job site.

Michael's approach to site work is shaped by his faith, his family, and a strong belief that doing things the right way is never optional. With hands-on construction experience and a focus on clear communication and jobsite safety, he builds relationships with clients that go well beyond a single project. Together, David and Michael run a company where no project is too small and no detail gets overlooked. We handle site grading, site clearing, excavation, water lines, sewer lines, storm drain, pond building, right-of-way clearing, mulching, material hauling, paving and concrete, de-watering, and more.
